BALLET Musical Theater Intensive! How unique! NEXT WEEK, August 6th - 10th, 9am - 3:30pm

Next week's focus is BALLET Musical Theater. How unique that we have this opportunity!

Ballet Technique classes from Christoper Howard and Becky Correia, with the addition of learning FIRST-HAND the true choreography from ballet based musical theater numbers, "American in Paris" and "Phantom of the Opera", etc

Christopher Howard is amazing, and he is continually climbing the Broadway ladder in his career as a performer and dance captain, with a recent promotion to a manager for the show. Mr Howard has a strong background in ballet and musical theater. I am flying him out from NYC and he is well worth it to have him in our fantastic guest teacher repertory. Let's show these great connections we are happy to have them by showing up and taking in their knowledge and expertise. :)

And we all know and love our Becky Correia! Becky learned that you have to branch out of "just ballet" to stay continuously employable in this field. Now she auditions for Broadway Shows in NYC, and gets her first debut at the Lincoln Center with the Metropolitan Opera this season! She has learned a lot and is excited to share with our dancers.

Both Christopher and Becky will make a dynamic team next week and they will also be talk to the dancers on developing a portfolio, the audition process and how to continually master auditioning (yes there is a way to win and be seen!), and how to develop your career and make the correct connections for your future.
