Pacific Arts Dance Center believes the best way to learn and develop one's self as a dancer is to expose yourself to a diverse array of professionals in the field. True Master Teachers, with professional experience as a performer, choreographer and teacher, the guest artists we bring in at PADC are truly extraordinary. Broadway Triple Threats, Alvin Ailey dance legends, Principle Ballerinas, College Professors in dance and Commercial dance favorites, bringing in guest teachers and choreographers really expands our dancers perspective, movement vocabulary and deepens their understanding of technique and expression.
PADC's Master Classes and Guest Artist Workshops are throughout our school year, holiday breaks and summers. They often follow our Adult Class Schedule of Classes, or are added as an extra class or workshop during the week or weekend outside of regular class times. Frequently, the guest artist is inspired to teach in our regularly scheduled class schedule and would only take the classes of the AD or School Director, or if a teacher would be gone for any extended period of time.
Master Classes are a Drop-in option, allowing our PADC students from any program to attend as well as opening these classes up to the greater San Diego dance scene.
Guest Artist are choosen for their attention to detail, artistry that fits our PADC feel and vision, and we make sure they are in alignment to our vision and friendly, warm studio atmosphere.
